The Diocese of Padua, through the Diocesan Museum, on the 25th anniversary of its opening to the public, intends to commemorate the Venetian sculptor Antonio Canova, an undisputed protagonist of world art at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Defined by his contemporaries as the “novello Fidia,” Canova today embodies the essence of Neoclassicism, and his sculptures were found in the major collections of the world, from the United States to Russia.
The Diocese of Padua will dedicate an exhibition event to Antonio Canova that will be a highlight of the cultural offering for 2025 not only for the Euganean city, but also for the Veneto region and beyond, in the year of the great Jubilee that Pope Francis will inaugurate on December 24.

Giuseppe Caldesi Valeri
Scholarship.

The Firm annually promotes a scholarship to cover university tuition, board, and lodging costs for a student with recognized human qualities and desire to learn, selected by a third-sector organization of proven independence and authority. The scholarship is named after Giuseppe Caldesi Valeri, chartered accountant and founding partner of the Firm, who passed away prematurely in February 2024.
